What are the main funding sources for the majority of companies? Self-financing and bank credit are perhaps the first ones that spring to mind but other funding solutions can be mobilized to finance strategic projects. There is indeed a real and increasing need for new funding approaches and different methods. The first key step is to understand the expectations of funders and establish a constructive dialogue with them.


The aim of this program is therefore to help you meet these challenges and understand how to develop long-term "win-win" relationships with your capital providers.

Theme 1

The role of communication in financial transactions

Legal obligations in terms of communication with the market, relations with the AMF and the market authorities...

Theme 2

The indicators monitored by the market

Value creation, internally-financed growth, socially responsible investment, CEO compensation policy, diluted EPS, "Equity Story" linkage...

Theme 3

Communication with credit agencies

Identification of reliable and relevant credit indicators that are monitored by rating agencies and communication with credit analysts.


Theme 4

The expectations of investors

The different kinds of investors and the specific evaluation methodologies by region - Europe, USA and Asia.

You can personalize your study path according to your own needs and resources. You will be awarded an HEC Paris Executive Education certificate after a total of 10 days of training.
