Graduation and new opportunities

The beginning of a new chapter

Nicolas Bally

Vice President of the Asia-Pacific Region for the SBU Turbomachinery of MAN Diesel & Turbo

‘‘

I’ve grown in confidence, both personally and in work. Learning about the financial and HR sides of things equipped me for my new position of trust, and I relish the more people-oriented side of my role now, and the daily interactions I have with the staff. I could have remained ‘just an engineer’, but now I have become so much more.

Olivier Calandreau

Representative Director and CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif Korea

‘‘

I had been very successful up to that point, and I felt like I had gained a lot of knowledge, but I started feeling restless, and I felt that I couldn’t connect the pieces—I needed a 360-degree view of the company. Having completed the program, I became CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif General Insurance in Seoul, where I’m now focused on helping the company get off the ground and become profitable. I’m not sure how long that will take, or where my next stop will be, but I feel prepared for whatever comes next.

Sandy Beky

President and founder of the managerial innovation start-up KyoSei Leadership

‘‘

When I joined the EMBA program, I did not imagine that my experiences there would give me the boldness that I needed to found my own company! During the Capstone project, I studied how the concept of sustainability can be integrated into managerial and decision-making processes, working with 20 global companies. Today, I'm the owner of KyoSei Leadership, a startup that specializes in managerial innovation and human capital development, an associate partner in two other successful businesses founded by two other HEC Paris ‘EMBAers’.

Pascal Caisey

Director & Head of Prescription Medicines, Boehringer Ingelheim

‘‘

My professional project addressed the potential profitability of the pharmaceutical industry from 2012-2016. Currently, profitability is no longer attainable without a profound change in business model. This is why I designed a new business model for profitable and consistent growth in the pharmaceutical industry. The project was a great opportunity to develop, lead and implement innovative management approaches within my company.

The learning approach

The aim of our innovative, hands-on action-based learning approach is to strike the right balance between theory and practice. We combine:

  • Case studies, workshops and interactive role-plays

to simulate real-life business situations and develop strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Digital learning

Up to 12% of the program is now delivered via distance learning solutions and online resources. This allows you to explore or complete certain aspects of the program in greater depth.

  • Testimonials from senior executives and industry experts

to not only provide valuable insights but to enable you to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

  • Career services

We offer a range of dedicated workshops, one-to-one coaching and sector specific sessions to help you acquire the necessary skills and tools to achieve your professional goals. We also connect you with the corporate world through specific recruitment and networking events.
